One couple will be eliminated on 'Dancing with the Stars: The Results' on Tuesday

A brand-new theme night comes to "Dancing with the Stars," as the 12 remaining celebrities find themselves pitted against each other in a quest to keep themselves immune from elimination. "Face Off" night comes to "Dancing with the Stars," live, Monday, Sept. 26 (8-9 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

Two couples will each be tasked with dancing the same dance style, but to different songs. After each couple dances, the participants will receive their scores from the judges, who will comment on the highs and lows of each dance. The couple with the highest score will be immune from elimination, but the other couple will be in jeopardy. At the end of the night, the six low-scoring couples will rely on the viewers' votes to help save them, and one of those couples will be eliminated on Tuesday night's results show.

The "Face-Off" parings are as follows:

  • Jana Kramer & Gleb Savchenko - Jive - "Too Many Fish in the Sea" by Bette Midler
  • Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds & Allison Holker - Jive - "Great Gosh A'Mighty" by Little Richard
  • Laurie Hernandez & Valentin Chmerkovskiy - Tango - "Into the Sunset" (Headhunterz Radio Edit) by Crystal Lake featuring Kifi
  • Marilu Henner & Derek Hough - Tango - "Battle Cry" by Imagine Dragons
  • James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess - Cha Cha - "Big Trouble" by Outasight
  • Ryan Lochte & Cheryl Burke - Cha Cha - "If It Ain't Love" by Jason Derulo
  • Calvin Johnson Jr. & Lindsay Arnold - Viennese Waltz - "Woman's World" by BJ The Chicago Kid
  • Terra Jolé & Sasha Farber - Viennese Waltz - "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls
  • Maureen McCormick & Artem Chigvintsev - Salsa - "Tres Deseos" ("Three Wishes") by Gloria Estefan
  • Amber Rose & Maksim Chmerkovskiy - Salsa - "Booty" by Jennifer Lopez featuring Iggy Azalea
  • Vanilla Ice (Robert Van Winkle) & Witney Carson - Paso Doble - "Save Tonight" by Zayde Wølf
  • Rick Perry & Emma Slater - Paso Doble - "Tamacun" by Rodrigo Y Gabriela

No couples will be eliminated on this episode.

The second elimination of the season will take place on "Dancing with the Stars: The Results," live, Tuesday, Sept. 27 (8-10:01 p.m.), on the ABC Television Network. Based on the viewers' votes and the judges' scores from Monday night's show, one of the six low-scoring couples from "Face Off" night will exit the ballroom.

Florida Georgia Line, CMA Award winners for Vocal Duo of the Year, will perform their No. 1 hits "Cruise" and "H.O.L.Y.," and Fitz and The Tantrums will perform "HandClap," from their self-titled album.

Viewers will also have a chance to see the couples' dances from the previous night one more time. The show will be packed with never-before-seen footage, including extended training packages, exclusive interviews with the couples and judges, and a glimpse of what's to come on week four of "Dancing with the Stars."

At the end of the night, the second elimination of the season will take place, based on combined viewer and judges' scores from Monday.

Hosted by two-time Emmy-winning host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, "Dancing with the Stars" is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including head judge Len Goodman, and dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough.

For week three, viewers may cast their votes for their favorite couples from the six low-scoring couples via phone on Monday night during and up to 60 minutes after the end of the "Dancing with the Stars" broadcast in each time zone. Online voting at www.ABC.com and on Facebook at https://apps.facebook.com/votedwts/ is open for 24 hours, beginning from the start of each episode on the East Coast at 8 p.m. and closing at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
