The Niagara Falls Country Club recently broke ground on a multimillion-dollar renovation project. NFCC has partnered with Fittante Architecture, Tundo Construction and Tripp Davis and Associates Golf Architecture on the plan, which will include a new members' bar and casual dining room, a new banquet and event complex, a pool and patio remodel and expansion, greens and bunker reconstruction throughout the golf course, and a new golf cart facility.

"We have been fortunate to see tremendous growth in all segments of our membership, from young families to golfers to tennis players to retirees," NFCC General Manager/CEO Tom Ahern said. "That growth, together with our members' confidence, has allowed for us to make these ambitious plans a reality. It's a rewarding feeling to be able to fulfill these plans for our members, the Town and Village of Lewiston, and all our local business partners."

It is expected the banquet complex will be able to host up to 350 people and provide a private patio and view of the Niagara Escarpment.

The new member bar and casual dining room, as well as a dedicated and expanded patio for patrons to enjoy the view, will support the recent growth of the club's membership and enhance the overall member experience.

As the home to the Porter Cup, one of the nation's premier amateur golf events, the golf course will be upgraded throughout, with specific attention to the reconstruction of the majority of greens and bunker areas.

David Sanchez, president of the NFCC board of governors, said, "For more than 100 years, Niagara Falls Country Club has been associated with being one of the premier locations and golf facilities in the area and beyond, and, like any organization, needs to invest in the enhancement of its facilities to meet the changing size, demographics of its customers. It is truly a very exciting time to be a member of the club, and we are confident these plans will sustain the club for generations to come."
