The Niagara County Peach Queen contestants have participated in many community service activities and events in August, all of which have centered on teamwork and getting to know each other better.

Some of the highlights of the Peach Queen contestants' activities included a team building night at Adventure Room Niagara (Reality Room Niagara) and pallet painting with Buffalo Pallet Parties. The contestants also had skin care and makeup session with Lauren Miller from Rellim Hair and Makeup Design Studio, and Christina Zaroian from La Pelle Spa.

The Peach Queen contestants will have private interviews with a panel of judges on Wednesday, Sept. 7, prior to the Niagara County Peach Festival weekend. They will compete on stage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, and at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

Once again, Maryalice Demler from WGRZ-TV Channel 2 will serve as mistress of ceremonies for the Peach Queen pageant.

The contestants will collect school supplies at the Peach Festival to benefit the Magdalene Project in Niagara Falls. Those interested in donating items can drop them off at the raffle gazebo at Academy Park throughout the three-day festival.
