Cocktails and Cream Puffs Entertainment presents "Betsy Carmichael's BINGO Palace," an original interactive comedy by Joey Bucheker and Mary Kate O'Connell. The show is on stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St.

Join the fabulous Betsy Carmichael as she hosts an unforgettable night of bingo at The Bingo Palace. Betsy and her cast of characters bring the audience "into the act" with special bingo games, prizes, fun and surprises.

"Betsy Carmichael's BINGO Palace" is written and created by Bucheker (a Niagara University graduate) and O'Connell. It stars the original Buffalo cast of Adam M. Wall, Corey Bieber, Lewiston native Jerry Mosey and, of course, Betsy Carmichael. Tickets are available at the door for $10. Visit www.betsybingo.com or call 929-35BINGO (24646) for more information.

A little over a year ago, a theater found itself, suddenly, without the rights to a show - and with a sold-out opening just a week away. Immediately, cast member Bucheker and director O'Connell came together to create a show. They called upon the "First Lady of Bingo," Carmichael, to come out of retirement and star in the new show.

After rave audience reviews, sold-out performances and a successful extension, Carmichael has decided to take her act on the road to Chicago, where "Betsy Carmichael's BINGO Palace" will be presented in the Chicago Fringe Festival (Sept. 1-11). First, the "BINGO Palace" is stopping in Youngstown for one night only.
