Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. to host community events

The Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. is gearing up to host two community events this month.

It will present a concert event Friday, Aug. 26, at 4631 Cambria Wilson Road, Lockport. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and goodwill admission is $5 for those 21 and older. The Blood Money Band will perform from 7-9 p.m. and JB Aaron will take the stage from 9 p.m. to midnight. Food trucks will be onsite for the event.

On Saturday, Aug. 27, the fire company will host its fourth annual tractor pull. Gates open at 8 a.m. The day's events will kick off with stock tractors at 9 a.m., the outlaw pulling series (semis and tractors) and WNY pro-pulling (light pro-stock) at 1 p.m. and the empire state pulling series, street legal trucks and "Run What Ya Brung" at 5 p.m.

Featured will be a chicken barbecue, chicken wings, hot dogs, hamburgers, pop, a beer tent and 50/50 pull-tabs. Admission is $15 for teens and adults, $5 for kids 5-12 and free for children under 5. Pets are not allowed at the event.
