Mustang Blizzard coming to Town of Niagara

'American Graffiti Classic Car Show' slated for Aug. 8

The nationally award winning 1965 Mustang Blizzard, built by the Ring Brothers for Niagara Falls native Dom Farbo, will be on display at the annual Town of Niagara "American Graffiti Classic Car Show" Monday, Aug. 8. The show is sponsored by Halleen's Automotive and part of the Music Mania Monday free concert held at Veteran's Memorial Park, 7000 Lockport Road.

Gates open at 5 p.m. and awards will be announced at 7:45 p.m. during the performance intermission of Pauly and The Goodfellas at the Music Mania Monday free concert. Awards will be presented for Hot Rods, muscle cars, corvettes, trucks, motorcycles, pre-1950's classics, 1950's classics, 1960's classics, 1970's classics and mustangs.

Food, beer and other refreshments will be available for purchase at the event. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the event. A 50/50 split will be featured. Proceeds will go to a local charity.

The 1965 Mustang Blizzard has won dozens of national and regional awards, including, the Toronto 2015 Goodguys Builders Choice Award, and the Syracuse Nationals Tucci award.
