(716) Sideline Patio begins full-service operation Friday

Live music, special food and drink menu highlight summer outside (716) Food and Sport

The (716) Sideline Patio is gearing up for an exciting summer, which will include live music during Friday happy hours, after Thursday Canalside Concerts, and periodically throughout the summer weekends; along with premium (716) food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.

The patio will officially begin full-service operation this Friday at 4 p.m., as it kicks off Memorial Day weekend with specials. The outdoor holiday weekend festivities will continue Saturday with live music by Jony James from 2-6 p.m., and live music by Michael Bly from 2-6 p.m. Sunday.

Located at the corner of Washington and Scott streets, the (716) Sideline Patio will be open every Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, through the end of June. It will then begin daily operation for the summer months. Additionally, beginning June 9, the patio will be open each Thursday with live music following the Canalside Concerts to add to the downtown experience. The patio's operation is contingent upon each day's weather conditions.

"Our Sideline Patio was a very popular spot for guests to enjoy the nice weather last summer," said Dominic Verni, HARBORCENTER's vice president of food and beverage. "Our team has worked to enhance its experience with an exceptional lineup of local musicians and a tasty selection of (716) culinary favorites that makes our patio a premium outdoor destination."

The (716) Sideline Patio features a full outdoor bar and grill with four high-definition, anti-glare television screens, and open seating for approximately 50 guests. Outdoor beverage options include a selection of local draft beers, red and white wine, (716) specialty concoctions, and soft drinks. The patio will also serve popular (716) food items, including chicken quesadillas, rusty rib tacos, bacon jam sliders and Caesar salad.

Beginning June 3, Friday happy hours on the (716) Sideline Patio will feature live music from the acts below.

All seating on the (716) Sideline Patio is first-come, first-served open seating. The patio will offer the same happy hour specials that are available inside (716).
