The men and women of our nation who have served in the U.S. military will be remembered during special masses at six Catholic cemeteries of Buffalo during Memorial Day weekend.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, masses will be held at: Mount Olivet Cemetery (Kenmore), Veteran's Memorial Plaza, Holy Cross Cemetery (Lackawanna), Courtyard of the Evangelists, Gate of Heaven Cemetery (Lewiston), All Saints Chapel Mausoleum and Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (Cheektowaga) and St. Francis of Assisi Chapel Mausoleum.
Masses will also be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (Lockport), Queen of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum and St. Adalbert's Cemetery (Lancaster), St. Adalbert Chapel.
