YMCA Buffalo Niagara has hit the midway point of its annual campaign journey. Officials noted it is 74.8 percent to its overall goal of $725,000. The organization, comprised of eight branches and the association office, is seeking the community's support in reaching its target by April 19.

Last year alone, the Y awarded over $1 million in financial assistance to nearly 3,000 families thanks to the community's generous support.

"From learning enrichment to disease prevention and safe spaces to summer adventures, the Y's annual campaign opens the doors to life-changing experiences and opportunities that truly change people's lives for the better," said Michael Dolan, the annual campaign chairman.
