Festival headliners to be announced

This summer marks a special anniversary for the Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival. The 15th annual installment of the popular village event will take place Aug. 26-27.

More than 40,000 people attended the festival in 2015 to enjoy jazz performances, an array of regional food and wine selections, a jewelry show and more.

The Lewiston Jazz Festival board invites residents to support this year's event by attending the annual fundraising party - "Jazz & Pasta," scheduled for 1-6 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Water Street Landing in Lewiston. "Jazz & Pasta" features a day of continuous food and music with performances by Lori Bordonaro, Tony Zambito, Luke Ciminelli and Ron Corsaro.

An array of pastas will generously be contributed by some of the area's finest restaurants. Additionally, a basket auction, 50-50 split, and special auction items will be available with all proceeds going this year's festival.

What's more, the Lewiston Jazz Festival board will make an exclusive announcement at the fundraiser, revealing the headlining acts for the 2016 Lewiston Jazz Festival.

Tickets for "Jazz & Pasta" are $20 in advance or $25 day of the event. They are available for purchase at the Red Brick Municipal Building, the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce office, the Artpark box office and online at Lewistonjazz.com.
