Surprise release of music supported by acoustic videos

Helmed by Phil Joel, Zealand Worship joins MercyMe and Citizen Way on tour

The story of Zealand Worship continues to unfold as the band is sharing acoustic videos supporting a mix of brand-new songs and celebrated tunes from its newest release, "Zealand Worship The EP" (Word Worship). Continuing to reiterate its success is not defined by numbers or sales, but in a lasting experience, Zealand Worship recently dropped acoustic videos of two brand-new unreleased songs, "Forgiver" and "Still," on NewReleaseToday. With the help of Worship Leader and CCLI TV, the globally traversing group of musicians recently premiered acoustic videos of EP tracks "That's Who You Are" and "Lead Us To Your Heart."

Led by long-time Newsboys bassist and vocalist Phil Joel, the tunes of Zealand Worship are resounding with critics.

Amidst student gatherings around the country, Zealand Worship will be joining Grammy-acclaimed MercyMe and radio-supported Citizen Way on tour for the entire month of April. Included in the tour are stops in Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Georgia and more. For the latest tour schedule, click HERE.

The journey to Zealand Worship has been a wild and adventurous one that no one anticipated. Led by Joel, best known for his long-standing role as bass player and vocalist for the multiplatinum-selling band Newsboys, Zealand Worship has been faithfully traversing a road that has been as unscripted and unexpected as it has been ordained.

When Joel left Newsboys after 13 years, it wasn't long before ministry opportunities began to emerge throughout the U.S., New Zealand, Australia and China. Without even realizing it, Joel's perspective began to shift, opening his eyes to a new understanding about worship and his role in it.

Joel and fellow musicians, all who have been part of successful bands, have been operating "off the grid," ministering where they have been invited, under the radar in a season of preparation for the next chapter, which is aptly titled Zealand Worship.

Zealand Worship signed with Word Worship, a division of Word Entertainment, in May.

"Zealand Worship The EP" is available on all DSP's and streaming services, including iTunes and Spotify.
