Qdoba Mexican Eats to open first WNY location in Niagara Falls

Feb. 25 grand opening to benefit Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center

Qdoba Mexican Eats announced it will open its first Western New York location at the LaSalle Center on Military Road in Niagara Falls on Thursday, Feb. 25. Qdoba is a Denver-based fast-casual Mexican restaurant, known for its three-cheese queso and free guacamole.

Opening day at the restaurant will be themed "Niagara FALLS for Queso" and is set to include local celebrity appearances, giveaways, a Qdoba photo booth, free chips and queso (one order per customer), and other activities.

Qdoba will be donating 20 percent of its net sales from the Niagara Falls location's opening day, from 5-10 p.m., to the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center - the city's only medical center, with many programs and patients throughout the region. The initial charity donation will be part of a new, long-term partnership between Qdoba and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

"Qdoba is extremely committed to the communities where we do business, and we are excited to introduce Western New Yorkers to the restaurant for the first time," said Josephine Chang, Qdoba brand manager, new markets. "Our menu offers flavorful ingredients and free extras. We encourage guests and flavor-fanatics to visit our new location, taste our food and experience Qdoba in Niagara Falls."

With flavor at the forefront of the new restaurant's experience, guests don't have to worry about being charged more for the "extras" they crave because any and all additional flavors - like hand-smashed guacamole, queso and any of Qdoba's flavorful sauces and salsas - are free on any entrée. And, if an entrée isn't just right, the local team will build a new meal the guest will love at no charge.

Qdoba is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., at 1520 Military Road, LaSalle Center. The LaSalle Center location is the first of several Qdoba restaurants that will open in Western New York and upstate New York in 2016.

Qdoba also offers catering services.
