Rock, country heavyweights dominate latest additions to Seneca Resorts & Casinos entertainment schedule

The latest additions to the Seneca Resorts & Casinos lineup are filled with big names and famous sounds.

Rock guitar legend Steve Miller Band performs at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca. Born and bred as a guitarist on the San Francisco blues-rock scene in the 1960s, Miller emerged as one of the leading pop-rock acts of the 1970s and early '80s. Among the hits that propelled Steve Miller Band to fame are "Fly Like an Eagle," "Take the Money and Run" and "The Joker."

Foreigner, one of the best-selling bands of all time, brings its classic songs to the Seneca Niagara Events Center stage at 8 p.m. Friday, May 13. Tickets start at $45. The band's number of instantly recognizable top 40 hits, including "Feels Like the First Time," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You" and "Urgent," is truly impressive and a reminder of why Foreigner has sold so many records across multiple decades.

Additional shows include May performances at Seneca Niagara by touring favorites The Smithereens (May 14, The Bear's Den Showroom); and British Invasion superstars The Zombies (May 20, The Bear's Den Showroom).

When the calendar turns to June, the attention moves outside, as country music legend Travis Tritt performs an outdoor show at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino on Friday, June 3.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at noon Friday, Feb. 19, and are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, online at SenecaCasinos.com and Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.
