King of the Cage signs agreement with Seneca Resorts & Casinos for MMA events

Debut event scheduled for March 12; tickets on sale Friday

King of the Cage, the leader in casino mixed martial arts entertainment, is proud to announce it has signed an agreement for MMA events at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls.

The debut event, "Extreme Horsepower," is scheduled to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, inside the Seneca Niagara Events Center. It will be headlined by a bantamweight (145 pounds) main event showdown between MMA legend Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett and Matt "The Cat" DiMarcantonio, and feature some of the sport's most ferocious competitors.

March 12 Fight Card Information

The main event in the 145-pound bantamweight division will feature Bennett, from Coconut Creek, Florida, fighting out of ATT MMA, facing off against DiMarcantonio from Ontario, Canada, and fighting out of Modern Vision MMA.

Bennett, who just recently made his long-awaited comeback in the cage, is known for his in-cage persona and his fighting skills. During his career, Bennett has defeated MMA veterans such as Yoshiro Maeda and KJ Noons.

DiMarcantonio is a top-ranked fighter and has held multiple titles throughout his career.

The co-main event will feature two undefeated fighters in the 205-pound light heavyweight division. Donnie "The Diamond" Wonch (3-0-0) from Hamilton, Ontario (Floods Impact MMA), will battle Jabril Patterson (3-0-0) from Rochester, New York.

Another co-main event in the women's 130-pound catchweight division will feature a showdown between Janice Meyer from Cortland, New York (Power of One MMA), against Taylor "The Queen of Mean" Turner from Sevierville, Tennessee (Knoxville MMA).

Also appearing on the card will be Jason "Ba Bu" Trzewieczynski and Brendan Fang.

Tickets go on sale at noon Jan. 15 and are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, online at SenecaCasinos.com and Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Fights start at 7 p.m. This is an 18-and-older event. The card is subject to change.
