The Week 17 Minnesota at Green Bay game will be played at 8:30 p.m. ET this Sunday, Jan. 3, on NBC's "Sunday Night Football," the NFL announced last night.
The Week 17 game times are finalized with additional network assignments to be announced by the NFL this week.
The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all NFL Sunday timeslots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:25 p.m. timeslot on CBS or FOX.
Also last night, WGRZ reported the Bills-Jets game was rumored to move into this late-night slot, but will remain at 1 p.m.
