Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs at two locations this Saturday. From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., volunteers will be at Walden Galleria - lower level in front of Williams Sonoma (Sears side) on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. A second adoption event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Clyde's Feed & Animal Center, 3972 Lockport-Olcott Road (Wrights Corners) in Lockport.

Photos and information on all HON animals is available online at www.heartofniagara.org. The public is invited to come and meet these animals and to find out more about the adoption process, animal care and upcoming meetings and events.

Heart of Niagara will accept needed donations of Purina One and Science Diet dog food at these adoption events.

Volunteers also will have information and $25 food tickets available to purchase for the fourth annual "Heart to Heart" fundraiser. "A Taste of The Niagara Region," which features donated food samples from 30-plus area restaurants, caterers and bakeries, is planned for Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at the Conference & Events Center in Niagara Falls.
