Buffalo Sabres: 'Tux and Pucks' returns on New Year's Eve

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the return of "Tux and Pucks" for the team's home game against the New York Islanders on Thursday, Dec. 31. The night offers fans an opportunity to dress up in formal wear to celebrate New Year's Eve while attending the 6 p.m. game at First Niagara Center.

Ticket packages are available for $99 and include two 300 Level II tickets and a tuxedo rental from Tuxedo Junction. Season-ticketholders and fans who have already purchased a ticket to the game can also take advantage of a discounted tuxedo rental by bringing their game ticket to any Tuxedo Junction location to a receive a complete tuxedo rental for $20.16.

Fans also can be fitted for a tuxedo at the Sabres game against the Los Angeles Kings starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. A fitting room will be located adjacent to the elevators in the main pavilion of First Niagara Center.

All fans are encouraged to wear a tuxedo for the game, as the Sabres camera crew will be roaming the pavilion and stands to find the best-dressed fans and showcase them on the video board during the game.

Following the game, (716) Food and Sport will host its annual New Year's Eve party. There will be no cover charge and guests will have a chance to eat, drink and dance to music from DJ Milk while watching the ball drop on (716)'s 38-foot video screen.
