Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals present annual holiday fundraiser

The Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals announce its 2015 annual holiday fundraiser, "The Holiday Affair," is being held at Tuesday, Dec. 1, at The Foundry, 1738 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.

From 5:30-7:30 p.m., guests can take advantage of an open bar, epicurean display, hors d'oeuvres, pasta and carving stations, coffee and dessert stations, and a cookie platter.

In addition to food, beverages and company, the event provides funds for a worthwhile cause. All proceeds of Chinese auction (5:30-8 p.m.) will benefit Baker Victory Services, which continues to care for individuals and families as it did many years ago though an extensive list of social-service programs; and God's Outreach Ministries, which helps women who have fallen through the cracks in life, operating a homeless shelter and mentoring young women.

DJ Pat Proctor will provide entertainment.

Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals group has been in existence since 1971 as an organization that recognizes professionals in the travel industry. Its goal is to foster camaraderie and mutual trust among members and guests and promote and develop travel knowledge through travel industry speakers and motivational dinner meetings. The organization is comprised of travel agency owners, managers and employees, corporate travel managers/coordinators and staff, as well as respective suppliers in the industry.
