The Eastman School of Music and Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival present the return of nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones to Rochester. Jones will appear at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre for a special one-night-only performance at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

"We are excited to team up with Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival once again to bring another internationally acclaimed talent to Rochester," said Keith C. Elder, director of concert activities at Eastman School of Music.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow and are expected to sell out quickly. The public can purchase tickets, which range between $23 and $63, by visiting www.eastmantheatre.org or calling the Eastman Theatre Box Office at 585-454-2100.

"Norah Jones is a remarkably talented and versatile singer-songwriter," said John Nugent, Producer and Artistic Director of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. "This performance is not to be missed and we are excited to present it with our longtime partner, Eastman School of Music."

Fans can expect to hear songs from across Jones' entire catalog. She last performed in Rochester in 2012 as part of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.

Jones first emerged on the world stage with the February 2002 release of "Come Away With Me," her self-described "moody little record" that introduced a singular new voice and grew into a global phenomenon, sweeping the 2003 Grammy Awards and signaling a paradigm shift away from the prevailing synthetic pop music of the time. Since then, Jones has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and become a nine-time Grammy-winner.

She has released a series of critically acclaimed and commercially successful solo albums - "Feels Like Home" (2004), "Not Too Late" (2007), "The Fall" (2009) and "Little Broken Hearts" (2012) - as well as two albums with her country collective The Little Willies and another with the Brooklyn-based Puss N Boots. The 2010 compilation "...Featuring Norah Jones" showcased her versatility by collecting her collaborations with artists as diverse as Willie Nelson, Outkast, Herbie Hancock and Foo Fighters.

"Little Broken Hearts," which was produced by Danger Mouse, presented the fascinating next step in the artistic evolution of one of the music world's most consistently intriguing singer-songwriters. Jones previously collaborated with Danger Mouse on his acclaimed 2011 album "ROME," a valentine to classic Italian film score music that also featured Jack White.
