2016 Miss America Competition to broadcast live Sunday, Sept. 13, from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall

The Miss America Organization, dick clark productions and ABC announced actress and entrepreneur Brooke Burke-Charvet will return as co-host for the Miss America Competition, alongside host Chris Harrison. This marks Brooke's first time to the Miss America stage since 2013. The 2016 Miss America Competition airs live from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, Sept. 13 (9 p.m. ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Brooke joins a roster of celebrity talent including previously announced judges Brett Eldredge, Taya Kyle, Kevin O'Leary, Amy Purdy and Zendaya, as well as Nick Jonas who will act as the official music curator of the evening.

"It's great to be back with Miss America for the 95th anniversary competition and co-hosting with partner Chris Harrison," Burke-Charvet said. "It's always impressive and inspiring to meet the young women who strive to make a difference in their communities, while furthering their education and advancing principles of service, style and success."

Burke-Charvet is a host, actress, television personality, entrepreneur, fashion designer, home chef, passionate fitness expert and, most importantly, mother of four. She won the coveted mirror ball trophy on "Dancing with the Stars," and went on to co-host eight seasons of the hit ABC series. Burke-Charvet founded and launched BabooshBaby.com, the online store for her popular post-pregnancy belly wraps, Tauts, and Baboosh Body, a fitness product (belly wrap) made to trim the tummy. In 2011, she launched the online mommy destination, ModernMom.com, of which she remains the co-CEO.

Burke-Charvet developed, co-produces and hosts a new digital series debuting this October for the Hallmark-owned "Feeln'" Network called "Breaking Bread with Brooke Burke," a food-oriented lifestyle talk show with celebrity guests. In addition, she will join CBS' Saturday morning "Dream Team" hosting "Chicken Soup for the Soul's" new educational show, "Hidden Heroes," which also will premiere in October.
