Classic rock, folk, Native American artists set to perform

Seneca Resorts & Casinos has announced a deep, wide-ranging set of performances scheduled for November at Seneca Niagara Casino & resort and Seneca Allegany Casino & Resort. Tickets for all November shows go on sale at noon Friday, Aug. 21, and are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Canada's Lightfoot is one of the seminal voices of the singer/songwriter era, whose music inspired and has been covered by musical giants from Elvis Presley to Bob Dylan. Powered by his strong, smooth voice, Lightfoot became internationally known for such hit songs as "If You Could Read My Mind," "Sundown," Carefree Highway," "Early Mornin' Rain," "Rainy Day People" and "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," among many others. A member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, he has earned five Grammy nominations and 17 Juno Awards - and a legion of fans - throughout a more than 50-year career of remarkable songwriting and recording.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 80 million records sold to date, Meat Loaf seared his name into the lexicon of popular music with his powerful voice and larger-than-life live performances. His breakthrough album, the iconic "Bat Out of Hell," produced a collection of powerful and memorable songs, including "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights," earning him widespread acclaim. Meat Loaf later won a Grammy Award for the single "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" from the 1993 release "Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell."

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is located just minutes from the world-famous Niagara Falls in Western New York, near the Canadian border.
