Christopher Kijowski, LCSWR, was named director of social work/clinical coordinator at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A practicing social worker since the late 1980s, Kijowski joined the medical center staff earlier this year as clinical supervisor - outpatient behavioral health at the Wellness Center of Niagara.
Kijowski is a graduate of Buffalo State College and Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a master's degree in social work. Prior to working at Memorial, he served as head of behavioral health for Neighborhood Health Center, Buffalo.
In his new position, he will lead and supervise Memorial's unified social work department staff, coordinating and directing all social work programming and related activities in Memorial's inpatient medical and inpatient and outpatient psychiatric areas.
