The Niagara Wine Trail is celebrating its seventh annual Niagara USA Wine Festival at Lewiston's Academy Park. This year's event takes place from noon until 7 p.m. Saturday, July 25, and from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26.

Advance ticket sales include $5 worth of coupons valid toward the purchase of wine at the festival. As an incentive for attendees to purchase advance tickets, each order placed online through June 30 will be entered into a drawing. One person will win a two-night stay with breakfast at the Sheraton at the Falls hotel in Niagara Falls, and will get two tasting tickets to the festival.

Pre-sale tickets are available online for $25 (plus applicable sales tax) until 9 p.m. Friday, July 24. Event tickets also can be purchased at the event for $30, plus applicable sales tax.

All event tickets include the tasting of three wines at each of the participating wineries at the event and a commemorative tasting glass (while supplies last). Tickets are valid for both festival days and a wine pick-up service is available to patrons to keep hands free while enjoying the festival.

Many local vendors will be on hand offering culinary delights and refreshments for festivalgoers to purchase, as food items are not included in the festival ticket price.

Live music and wine education seminars are free and open to all festival attendees for both days. Designated drivers and festival participants under the age of 21 are admitted free of charge, and parking for the festival is free in the Village of Lewiston. A full list of participating wineries, vendors and schedule of events may be found at www.NiagaraUSAWineFestival.com, and in the complimentary brochure available to participants at the event entrance.
