Features survivors, professional insights, and topics in child sexual abuse prevention

One in 10 children will be sexually abused by age 18. Learn how to prevent child sexual abuse and create a safer community for children by registering and scheduling your organization for a Stewards of Children workshop.

The two-hour workshop uses survivor stories and expert insight to supply practical steps to help prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

This training was created by Darkness to Light, a national organization dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse, and is provided free by the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara. The center can accommodate groups of 10 or more with training at an organization's meeting place or at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Schedule a workshop now and learn how to better protect children or youth serving organizations. The workshops are free and open to the public and may be of particular interest to youth serving organizations, parents, educators, child care providers and faith centers.

Workshops will be led by Jacqueline Pritchard, education and outreach coordinator for the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara and a trained Darkness to Light-Stewards of Children facilitator.
