The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, will present Buddy Guy plus Quinn Sullivan with special guest Tom Hambridge at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts (UB North campus).

At age 78, Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee; a major influence on rock titans such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan; a pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound; and a living link to that city's halcyon days of electric blues. He has received six Grammys, 28 Blues Music Awards (formerly W.C. Handy Awards), the Billboard magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone ranked him in the top 30 of its "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." In 2015 he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Fifteen-year-old Quinn Sullivan is quickly gaining a reputation among today's most respected guitar players and musical artists. He has been touring the world with his mentor and friend, Buddy Guy, promoting his latest CD, "Getting There," produced in Nashville with Tom Hambridge. Since the age of 7, Quinn has been sharing stages with legendary players Eric Clapton, BB King and Guy at iconic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and more.

Buffalo native and Grammy Award-Winning producer, singer/songwriter and drummer Hambridge will perform with Quinn.

Tickets for the show are available at the UBCFA box office (weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and tickets.com. To charge tickets, call 1-888-223-6000. For more information, call 716-645-2787 or visit www.ubcfa.org, www.buddyguy.net,www.quinnsullivanmusic.com and www.hambridgetunes.com.
