The Niagara River Greenway Commission has announced the results of its 42nd round of projects. At a meeting held Tuesday, the commission voted on the following as it relates to the principals, goals and criteria that define the Niagara River Greenway Plan.

•Town of Newfane - rebuilding of Ye Olde Log Cabin: Voted consistent

Two other projects from the Town of Lewiston and the Town of West Seneca that were expected to be acted on were removed from the agenda by the project sponsors.

The next step for the project sponsor is to seek funding through conventional grant and endowment sources, as well as the various Greenway standing committees.
