Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Pet Supplies Plus this Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Pet Supplies Plus, 2952 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. Photos and information on these and all of the rescue's adoptable animals are available on the HON website, www.heartofniagara.org.

The public is invited to come and find out more about the adoption process, fostering, volunteer opportunities, animal care and upcoming meetings and events. Dog food donations of Science Diet and Purina One will be gladly accepted at the adoption event.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 280 animals. They operate solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Volunteer meetings take place from 6:30-8 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St. Meetings are open to the public. New volunteers are always welcome.
