Toma Dobrosavljevic loses 171 pounds to become 'The Biggest Loser'

He won $250,000 on live NBC finale

Toma Dobrosavljevic, a 33-year-old senior project manager from Addison, Illinois, became "The Biggest Loser" and won $250,000 on Thursday's live season 16 finale on NBC. Toma started the show at 336 pounds and lost 171 pounds, weighing in at 165 pounds after losing 50.89 percent of his body weight.

"The Biggest Loser: Glory Days" featured 20 former athletes, including former NFL players, Olympic gold medalists and athletes who were standouts in high school and college. 

Forty-year-old physical education teacher Sonya Jones of Springfield, Illinois, was named runner-up after losing 144 pounds. She started the show at 283 pounds and weighed in at finale at 139 pounds, losing 50.88 percent of her body weight. Coming in third place was 26-year-old Rob Guiry of Holmdel, New Jersey, a former head rugby coach and residence manager at Western New England University. He started the show at 483 pounds and lost 238 pounds. He weighed in at finale at 245 pounds, losing 49.28 percent of his body weight.

Jordan Alicandro of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, was the winner of the $100,000 "at home" prize. The 32-year-old regional sales manager began the show at 323 pounds and lost 143 pounds, weighing in at finale at 180 and losing 44.27 percent of his body weight.
