Artpark's 'Mary Poppins' wins trio of awards

Artpark & Company's 2014 Broadway musical "Mary Poppins" has won three Broadway World Awards for the Buffalo region. The show took Best Musical honors, while Randy Kramer (Best Director in a Musical) and Emilie Renier (Best Actress in a Musical) also were recognized.

" 'Mary Poppins' was perhaps the best musical we have done at Artpark since I have been here, and it is appropriate that the production, the director, Randy Kramer, and the star, Emilie Renier, be recognized for this exceptional show. I congratulate everyone associated with 'Mary Poppins' and invite all to come and see our show this summer, 'Peter Pan,' " Artpark President George Osborne said.

Artpark & Company will hold auditions for the 2015 Mainstage production of "Peter Pan" from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Niagara University Annex, (located in the Valu Home Center Plaza), 6001 Porter Road, Niagara Falls.
