The Town of Wilson reports its tax bills were sent out Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014. However, the U.S. Postal Service lost the 2,000 bills-plus and it is unsure when, or if, the bills will be delivered.

Property owners are requested to stop by the Town Hall, 375 Lake St., and get a copy of their bill, or print it or pay it on the town website, www.wilsonnewyork.com. Click on the red "View and Pay Town/County Tax Bills," click on "Continue" and enter a last name. Select an address off the list that is generated, and print off a bill.

Those with any questions are asked contact the tax collector at 716-751-9531 or the town clerk's office at 716-751-6704.

New York state tax law states it is the taxpayer's responsibility to find out the amount of a tax bill and pay it. The due date without penalty for the 2015 tax bill is Feb. 2.

The Town of Wilson apologizes for any inconvenience.
