'Christmas' CD remains a solid seller for fourth consecutive year

'Christmas in New York With Michael Bublé" TV special airs tomorrow on NBC

Michael Bublé has much to celebrate this holiday season. The multi-Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and global entertainer will be completing the l57th performance of his successful sold-out world tour this week in London. In addition, he'll host his fourth annual special, "Christmas in New York With Michael Bublé" airing tomorrow on NBC. Add to this his "Christmas" CD, which has sold more than 9.5 million copies worldwide, is back on the charts for the fourth consecutive year.

In 2014, the "To Be Loved Tour" sold 992,637 tickets with a box office gross of $106 million. In the U.K. alone, Bublé performed l8 sold-out shows, 31 in Europe, l2 in Canada and several sold-out shows in Mexico, South American, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.

Bublé's Christmas CD has just been certified diamond in his native Canada - the first record to do so since Adele's "21" album. "Christmas" is currently the No. 1 album in Australia for the fourth consecutive year - an unprecedented achievement in that country. In the U.S., the Christmas CD has remained in the top 10 for the past several weeks, was certified triple-platinum, and has sold over 3.5 million copies since its release four years ago.

The TV special, "Christmas in New York With Michael Bublé," which airs Wednesday at 8 p.m., includes guest appearances by Ariana Grande, Miss Piggy and Barbra Streisand.
