Sabres 'Bowl-A-Rama' set for Jan. 11

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the "Bowl-A-Rama" celebrity bowling tournament to benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation will return this season.

The "Bowl-A-Rama" will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Transit Lanes, 7850 Transit Road, Williamsville. The event will include auctions, prizes, live entertainment and food and beverages, including an open bar. Each bowling team will have an opportunity to bowl with a celebrity Sabres guest, including players, alumni and broadcast personalities.

This will be a 21-and-older event.

Registration is currently underway for teams and sponsorship packages:

•Team- $1,000

Includes: One bowling team consisting of five participants, five Sabres bowling shirts, five tournament caps.

•Lounge Sponsor - $2,500

Includes: Corporate logo in the lounge; sponsor recognition on Sabres.com and promotional materials; one bowling team consisting of five participants; five Sabres bowling shirts; one team-autographed Sabres bowling ball; one team-autographed Sabres bowling pin; 10 tournament caps and five tournament tickets.

•Lane Sponsor - $5,000

Current Sponsors: BlueCross BlueShield of WNY, Fallsview Casino, First Niagara, and Labatt

Includes: Corporate logo on the lanes, sponsor recognition on Sabres.com and promotional materials, one bowling team consisting of five participants, five Sabres bowling shirts, one autographed Sabres jersey, one team-autographed Sabres bowling ball, one team-autographed Sabres bowling pin, 15 tournament caps and 10 tournament tickets.

•Presenting Sponsor - $7,500

Includes: Presenting sponsor recognition on all tournament signage, Sabres.com and promotional materials; corporate logo on the tournament cap; two bowling teams consisting of five participants; 10 Sabres bowling shirts; two autographed Sabres jerseys; two team-autographed Sabres bowling balls; two team-autographed Sabres bowling pins; 25 tournament caps and 15 tournament tickets.
