Election: GOP victorious in Lewiston

Unofficial Election Day results in the Town of Lewiston show Republican Beth Ceretto defeating Democrat David Sanchez by a more than 400 votes (2,485-2,039). Ceretto, wife of re-elected Assemblyman John Ceretto, who ran unopposed, will serve a three-year term.

Incumbent Republican William Conrad will serve a one-year term after beating Democrat Keith Ahlas (2,790-1,530).

Also, incumbent Donna Garfinkel, who ran on both the GOP and Democrat lines, was re-elected, topping Conservative/Independent Regina Cecconi (3,552-881).
