Obit: Beatrice L. Hillock

Beatrice L. (née Hardy) Hillock, a longtime resident of Grand Island, entered into rest Aug. 26 in New Port Richey, Florida.

Born in Buffalo on June 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary C. (née Tucker) Hardy. She was the wife of the late John J. Hillock and the mother of Lawrence J. (Dawn), John E. (Linda), Robert K. (Cindy), Linda B. (Harold) Clark, Lucille M. (Richard) Floss, Randon P. (Susan), Hilary A. (Porfirio) Balderas and the late Editha S. (survived by husband Dr. John) Kapoor. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Beatrice was the sister of Editha A. (late Marvin) Germain, James L. (Elsie) Hardy and the late Mary (late Clarence) Smith, Francis (late Louise) Hardy, Elizabeth (late Donald) Miller and Noreen (late Donald) Feldman.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road. Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to HPH Hospice 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667 Attn: Fred Blind.
