The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center has announced its second auto art exhibition will take place in the Main Art Gallery, 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. "Auto Art: Artists & Mechanics Showcase" runs Friday Sept. 12, through Saturday, Nov 15. The exhibit will feature 20-30 artists inspired by "the American love affair with the automobile."
Featured artists include Jim Federspiel, Tom Gunsher, Paul Straus, John Dumbrowsky, Earl Freedmon and Jack Mulligan. Works will feature sculptures made from recycled car parts, oil paintings, watercolor, mixed media, photos, hand painted, pinstriping and airbrushing.
A free opening reception Friday, Sept. 12 (6-8 p.m.) will offer live music, a classic car rally and refreshments. For more information, visit www.thenacc.org.
