Mr. and Mrs. Earl Grimes of Grand Island will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Janet and Earl Grimes were married in Perrysberg. They have five children and six grandchildren: Ron and Kathy Grimes of Atlanta, grandsons Zachary (Huntington Beach, California) and Jason (Washington D.C.); Alan and Beth Grimes of Huntington Beach, grandchildren Claire and Max; Gail Dorsey of Atlanta; Leslie Martin of Niagara Falls, grandchildren Melissa and David; Tina Grimes and Stacy Kenworthy of Atlanta.
Earl retired from Keller Technologies in 1999, while Janet worked for Jenss Department Store until it closed.
A family celebration is planned over the Thanksgiving holiday with their children and grandchildren.
