The Lewiston Council on the Arts and Just Buffalo Literary Center will present the fourth program in the Lewiston Arts Cafe' series, which features presentations by poets and musicians.

Poet Kenneth Feltges and musician Dee Adams will perform Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Lewiston Opera Hall, 732 Center St.

Feltges is a teacher, poet and photographer whose 45-year English-teaching career was capped by Business First's naming him as a "Teacher of Merit" for Western New York in 2012. He is a past winner of the Just Buffalo literary competition for poetry, and once earned first place for photography in the Lewiston Art Festival. His book of poems and original photographs was published in 2012. Feltges also recorded a CD on which he reads 25 poems from his book. He has been named "writer-in-residence" at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, and he enjoys introducing poetry to students of all ages.

Adams writes and sings punchy, poetic, acoustically driven songs drenched in hooks and harmonies, with a warm, rich and bluesy voice. Among her many accolades and accomplishments, Adams was named grand prize winner of the 2002 Songs Inspired by Literature songwriting contest. Her song "Pennsylvania" can be found alongside tracks donated by David Bowie, Roseanne Cash, Steve Earle and Tom Waits.

The cost of admission is $2 for the general public. Admission is free for LCA and JBLC members.
