Town of Lewiston: Brochey names committee appointments, sets schedule

Town of Lewiston Supervisor Dennis Brochey has announced his appointments for the new supervisor's/residents capital improvement advisory committee, as well as its meeting schedule for this month.

"The purpose of this committee is to gain public input with regard to needed capital improvements.  The findings will be forwarded to the supervisor and Town Board and addressed in a multi-year capital budget," Brochey said.

Members of this committee include: Brochey, Deputy Town Supervisor Sean Edwards, Finance Director Paul Kloosterman, Al Soluri, Paulette Glasgow, Nadine Brandt, Terri Mudd and Carol Brandon.

Brochey reported the following committee meetings will take place: Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m., in the Sanborn Farm Museum; Thursday, Aug. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Village of Lewiston Red Brick Municipal Building; and Thursday, Aug. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Lewiston Town Hall.

Brochey encouraged the public to attend these meetings to assist in Lewiston's long-term capital planning.
