Crash! Sparkles! Bang! Light up the sky! It's time for Fourth of July fireworks.
Here's a sampling on where you can see some of the shows on July 3-4.
•Lewiston - Fireworks begin at dusk July 4 at the Lewiston Plateau. The rain date is July 5.
•Niagara Falls - The Cataract City will release fireworks at dusk July 4 at Hyde Park.
•Olcott - Fireworks go off at the West Pier at 10 p.m. July 3. Olcott Beach Carousel Park and Carousel Concessions are sponsoring Patriots Parade at 12:30 p.m. July 4. The march begins at Krull Park and continues to Olcott Beach Carousel Park.
•Wheatfield - Fireworks begin at dusk July 4 at Oppenheim Park on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
•The Tonawandas - Fireworks begin at dusk July 4 from Tonawanda Island. The rain date is July 5.
•Grand Island - The town celebrates July 4 with the 39th annual Dick Bessel Run on Grand Island Boulevard with the childrens race at 9 a.m. and the adults race at 9:15 a.m. The race is followed by a parade that begins at Pfc. Charles N. DeGlopper Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9249, 2121 Grand Island Blvd. Fireworks begin at dusk July 4 at Martin's Fantasy Island.
