Guest speaker Congressman Chris Collins to address organization

The Niagara Military Affairs Council will hold its annual meeting Thursday, June 5, at 5:30 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m.) at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, Heritage Center.

The meeting will include the election and introduction of NIMAC's board of directors, as well as an update of the organization's efforts on behalf of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station and its units. The meeting will feature remarks by U.S. Congressman Chris Collins.

In addition, NIMAC Chairman John Cooper and Vice Chairman Merrell Lane will provide a review of the organization's 2013 accomplishments and highlight NIMAC's goals for 2014. A key goal for the organization in 2014 is to increase membership in the organization. The membership fee for individuals is $20; for small businesses the fee is $50; a corporate membership is $100.

"We hope all our members and those interested in being involved with NIMAC will take the time to attend our annual meeting and learn about the many ways in which our organization supports and benefits the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station," Cooper said. "Every member helps us with our ongoing mission of supporting the base, which plays such an important role in the economic prosperity of our region."

The annual meeting is free and open to the public. All attendees must possess proper identification to gain entrance to the base. Attendees can call 716-283-4008 or email [email protected] to make a reservation or ask any questions.
