Buffalo Sabres sign goaltender Linus Ullmark to entry-level contract

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team signed goaltender Linus Ullmark to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Ullmark (age 20, 6'3", 220 lbs.), the Sabres' sixth-round (163rd overall) selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, has been playing for the Swedish MODO hockey club at both the junior and elite levels.

During the 2013-14 season, the Lugnvik, Sweden, native played 35 games for MODO in the Swedish Hockey League, registering a 2.08 goals-against average and .931 save percentage and was awarded the Honken Trophy as the Swedish Goaltender of the Year.
