Lewiston Region Tour of Kitchens tickets now on sale

Mark your calendars for the sixth annual Lewiston Region Tour of Kitchens, taking place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 7 and 8 at select addresses in Lewiston and Youngstown. Organizers report six entertaining and cooking spaces will be featured as well as culinary samples created by chefs from area restaurants.

Residences will be paired with a retailer and/or decorator who will create tablescapes. Included will be designs by vanderpool:design, Pallister House Florist, Piccirillo's Florist, The Country Doctor, Summertime Blooms, A-1 Landcare, Antique to Chic, Dianne's Floral, Erin Kent Interiors, Joey & Rosanna Quigliano, Nikki M Design and Sterling Décor.

Among the culinary samplings expected for ticket holders will be beet salad by the Town Hall American Bistro; Caprese-stuffed avocado salad by The Red Coach Inn; chicken tortilla soup by The Spicey Pickle; boat house chowder by the Wilson Boat House; tuna nacho by the Sunset Grill; signature chicken à la king and warm spinach salad by The White Linen Tea House; fire-roasted vegetable sandwich by Wegmans; WSL clam slammer and Absolut "Hibiscus Kiss Cocktail" by Water Street Landing; kickin' chicken chowder and arancini (Italian rice balls) by the Youngstown Village Diner and MC Catering; and braised pork by Bistro at the Old Fort Inn (Saturday only).

DiCamillo Bakery and The Village Bake Shoppe will provide signature desserts.

Tickets, $27, are available at all Wegmans locations until Friday, June 6. Tickets are also available online until June 6 at www.TourofKitchens.net and at DiCamillo Bakery, 535 Center St., and at The Village Bake Shoppe, 417 Center St.
