The following is a sampling of 118 calls answered by the Town of Niagara Police between May 7 and 13.

Wednesday, May 7

•Suspicious vehicle, 3200 block of Bellreng Drive. Patrol checked on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. All OK; tenant sleeping in his vehicle.

•Juvenile problem, Greenview Road. Patrol located juveniles who stole traffic cone from 72nd Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard. City advised them to put it back and no charges would be filed.

Thursday, May 8

•Animal complaint, 3000 block of Norman Street. Complainant stated a neighbor allows his dogs to roam the neighborhood without a leash and people have been chased and almost bitten. Patrol advised owner.

•Animal complaint, 4600 block of Woodard Avenue. Patrol requested to check area for a loud dog chained in the yard. Patrol found the area to be quiet.

Friday, May 9

•Neighbor dispute, 8300 block of Effie Drive. Neighbor dispute over a discarded sand filter.

•Domestic, 6100 block of Grauer Road. Male reported his ex-wife was not abiding by his court-ordered visitation rights.

•Check situation, 3400 block of Woodland Ave. Patrol responded for a young female stumbling around in roadway near oncoming traffic. The female said she drank vodka because she was upset about her mother always being with her boyfriend. Returning the female to her home, patrol detected a strong odor of marijuana. Mother charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

•DWI, Porter-Packard and Military roads. A 50-year-old North Avenue man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for going through a red light.

Saturday, May 10

•Check situation, 7300 block of Packard Road. Patrol responded on a complaint from a resident that someone ignited fireworks in his driveway. Nothing found.

•Vandalism, 400 block of A Street. Complainant reported someone threw a cinder block through her side porch window and screen.

•Shoplifting, 4200 block of Military Road. A 47-year-old Grand Avenue man was arrested for taking $68.89 worth of groceries from a store.

•Traffic stop, Military Road. Patrol responded on a report of a pickup truck with two infants in the vehicle and no safety seats. Operator reported that her grandson had a high fever an she did not have a car seat. Woman and two children transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center by Rural Metro Ambulance.

Sunday, May 11

•Vandalism, 1000 block of West Creek Drive. Complainant reported that someone shattered her front window with a BB or pellet gun.

•Check situation 9300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Caller from Cayuga Village reported seeing a driver fall out of a red pickup truck with a shotgun in his hand. Nothing found.

•Injury accident, Packard and Lockport roads. A Walnut Avenue woman was charged with failure to stay in lane and unlicensed operation before being transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Patrol also found she had an active warrant out of Lockport.

Monday, May 12

•Mental health, 600 block of B Street, intoxicated woman talking about cutting her wrists. Rural Metro transported her to Memorial.

•Aid assist, University Court and Lafayette Street. Patrol assisted State Police with a foot chase of a male suspect who ran after a car chase.

Tuesday, May 13

Check situation, 3100 block of Sadlo Drive. Patrol responded for an intoxicated female found in the roadway bleeding and screaming for help. When patrol arrived, her boyfriend had assisted her into her residence. Rural Metro contacted, but she signed off from further assistance.
