During the week of May 26-30, hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan will work out with the five trainers competing for the $10,000 grand prize

This morning on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced the five trainers chosen as finalists in the show's "LIVE's Top Fitness Instructor" contest.

"LIVE's Top Fitness Instructor" is a search for dedicated fitness professionals who develop incredible routines, instructors who motivate their clients to overcome obstacles, and those with unique and empowering methods.

Thousands of entries were narrowed down to five finalists. "LIVE" has partnered with Emergen-C for "Top Fitness Instructor Week," May 26-30, during which the finalists will appear on "LIVE" and demonstrate their routines with Ripa and Strahan. After the last finalist has been showcased, "LIVE's" viewers will vote on the show's website (www.LiveKellyAndMichael.com) for an overall grand prize winner, who will receive $10,000 in cash. Plus, each finalist also will take home a $2,000 cash prize, and will be featured in a future issue of Fitness Magazine.

The five finalists are:

Tammy Harris of Houston - A former member of the Houston Rockets Power Dancer cheerleading squad, Harris has 25 years of extensive dance training under her belt. She is certified as a personal trainer by the Aerobics Fitness Association of America, and launched her own company, Soul Grooves LLC, with the motto "Health and Wellness is a way of LIFE."

Before becoming a successful fitness instructor, Harris struggled with her own weight challenges, and created Soul Grooves to stress the importance of fitness, nutrition and behavioral changes to achieve physical and psychological goals.

When she's not training, Harris enjoys her family, traveling and working with charities.

Adam Shuty of New York City - In college, Shuty double-majored in engineering and martial arts. He moved to New York City and began moonlighting as a personal trainer for extra money. Shuty's client list grew quickly and he decided to quit his day job to pursue training full time. His motto is "the sky is the limit" and he brings that motivation into each of his training sessions.

Shuty has 10 years of experience in tai chi, yoga and Chinese martial arts, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Sarah Tiefenthaler of Santa Monica, California -Tiefenthaler is a certified yoga instructor. She completed a 216-hour hatha yoga teacher training certification in the jungles of Costa Rica, as well as a 75-hour power yoga certification in California. In 2011, Tiefenthaler founded YOGAqua in Marina Del Rey, fusing vinyasa yoga flow and stand up paddle boarding. Her clients experience the benefits of both vinyasa flow and SUP under the sun and on the ocean water.

Julie Wiesman of Miami -Wiesman has a bachelor's degree in exercise science and nutrition from the University of Cincinnati. After school, she became a New York Knicks City Dancer (2007-09) and a dancer for the Miami Heat (2009-10).

Wiesman is certified in core fusion and teaches private and group classes in core fusion barre, core fusion boot camp, core fusion yoga, core fusion sport and core fusion cardio.

She has appeared as a dancer in films including "Rock of Ages" and "Step Up 4." Because of her extensive background in dance and her passion for fitness, Wiesman recently created the "Twerk + Werk" workout, which has become popular in the Miami area.

Michael Wollpert of Chicago -Wollpert is a certified personal trainer and the founder of the TRAINology Fitness studio in Chicago, which offers unique classes that incorporate hiking, gliding and running modalities paired with strength training. Wollpert was voted Best Indoor Cycle Instructor by Competitor magazine in 2010, and was awarded the prestigious 1K medal for competing in and finishing five consecutive LOTOJA Classics, a 206-mile cycling road race from Utah to Wyoming.
