Assemblyman John Ceretto joined Gov. Andrew Cuomo Monday to announce an upcoming job recruitment event for people who are looking for work. The Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel will hold a job recruitment seminar in Williamsville on May 15. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. at the Williamsville Career Center at 4175 Transit Road in the Transitown Plaza.

Ceretto said this event would benefit people who are currently unemployed.

"With many people in the Niagara Falls area looking for work, this event is a great opportunity for those who are unemployed or looking for a second job to make connections and possibly get hired," he said. "I encourage everyone who is looking for work to get out, do some networking, and get their resume into the hands of people who can help them."

Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel is recruiting for positions at its facility in Niagara Falls. There are 120 positions available in food and beverage services and gaming. Before being hired, applicants will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
