The Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation's 30th annual Niagara Open Golf Tournament is taking place Monday, June 9, at the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown. All proceeds will benefit programs and services provided by Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Niagara County.

The format is a four-person scramble with lunch and dinner included, giveaways for all golfers, a hole-in-one contest and a high-end basket auction. The price is $175 per golfer or $700 for a foursome. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

To reserve a place, contact Cindy Hyde, special events supervisor, at 716-297-6400, ext. 335, or online at www.opportunitiesunlimited.org.

The golf tournament is sponsored by Upstate Pharmacy, WGRZ-TV Channel 2, Coca-Cola, Cassetta Agency Inc., JM Management Services Inc. and Cooper Planning Group.

The mission of the Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation is to provide a long-term source of financial support that ensures people with developmental disabilities have opportunities toward independence and integration within the community.
