Cinco de Mayo translates to May 5. ... Unless you're in Lewiston. In the village Monday, Cinco de Mayo meant a free taco at The Spicey Pickle.

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, owner Aaron Rotella gave away free tacos, hosted piñata parties for children and adults, and moderated an eating competition.

For the latter, about a half-dozen entrants competed to see who could eat "The NOOCH 17" the fastest. The burrito has 17 ingredients inside an extra-large, 14-inch tortilla. Each participant was required to wear a sombrero and a fake mustache.

Niagara Falls' Justin Walton, a former Lewiston resident, won the competition in a time of 3 minutes and 1 second.
