The wondrous world of Aladdin comes to the Artpark stage

Artpark welcomes Philadelphia's Enchantment Theatre Company as it presents two Mainstage Theater performances of "Aladdin & Other Enchanting Tales" May 1 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $7 and are still available for both show times. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Artpark box 0ffice (Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.); by calling 716-754-4375 or 1-888-223-6000; or online at www.artpark.net and www.tickets.com.

Schools and groups of 10 or more must be booked in person or by calling 716-754-4375.

 A giant genie, princesses and wizards abound in the marvelous tales of Scheherazade, the storyteller heroine of "Aladdin and Other Enchanting Tales." She tells her tales of Aladdin and a genie's lamp, Sinbad and the enchanted bird, and Ali Baba outwitting the thieves. Set to the mesmerizing music of Rimsky-Korsakov, with stunning costumes, masks, puppets, illusion and pantomime, Scheherazade will captivate the audience with humor, magic, romance and adventure.

Recommended for ages 5 and up, these classic stories take the audience on a fantastic journey into the wondrous world of "Aladdin and Other Enchanting Tales."
