The following activity occurred from Monday, March 16, to Sunday, March 23, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 69 response calls during this period.

Monday, March 17

•3500 block of Saunders Settlement Road, domestic. Patrol reported a father-son domestic. Son went to his mother's house with a brother. Niagara County Sheriff's Office handling paperwork.

•900 block of Ridge Road, unwanted person. Female, 28, listed as complainant and male, 54, listed as person involved. Female reported male as not welcome and was fearful that he would arrive at her home. Patrol reported male has a history of mental health problems and was not on location.

•5900 block of Kline Road, dog bite. Female, 40, listed as victim and taken to Mount St Mary's Hospital and Health Center. Female listed as person involved. Report filed.

•2700 block of Ridge Road, harassment. Handled by patrol; investigation to continue.

•Upper Mountain and Townline roads, suspicious person. Gone on arrival; patrol unable to locate.

•700 block of Onondaga Street, assist citizen. Patrol requested to assist family members with a female, elderly, who would not let them in. Family left after negative results.

•2000 block of Mount Hope Road, larceny. Complainant requested State Police; call referred to DSP.

Tuesday, March 18

•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from drivers; vehicle towed.

•900 block of Escarpment Drive, check situation. Water break at residence; town water department on location.

•900 block of Ridge Road, mental health response. Male, 54, off meds. Rural Metro transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical center. Report filed.

•5200 block Hewitt Parkway, officer requested. Patrol spoke with a male, 70. Ongoing problem of possible harassment and fraud.

•South Water Street, arrest. Male, 49, arrested for driving while ability impaired - drugs. Driver reportedly impaired by multiple prescription medications. Suspect taken to DSP substation for driver evaluation. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed with 12-hour hold placed. Report filed.

•Niagara University, hit-run accident. Female listed as victim/person involved. Investigation to continue with NU Campus Safety.

Wednesday, March 19

•100 block of South Water Street, fraud. Female, 42, listed as complainant. Fraud reportedly occurred in Kenmore and patrol advised complainant to contact Buffalo Police Department.

•LPD office, assist citizen with civil matter. Female, 57, listed.

•Location not listed, arrest. Male, 19, turned himself into patrol. Arrest conducted and bail of $500/$1,000 assigned.

•Lewiston Hill, suspicious person. Male, 28, listed as person involved, told patrol he walking in rain to Lewiston Town Court and given courtesy ride.

•Old Lewiston Road, recovered property. Male, 58, listed as complainant and female, elderly, listed as owner. Report filed.

•Lewiston Town Court, larceny. Male, 32, listed as complainant/victim; suspect unknown. Report filed.

•New York Power Authority, fire. Upper Mountain, Lewiston No. 1, Niagara Active Hose and Sanborn volunteer fire companies responded. Suspect unknown. Report filed.

•800 block of Youngstown-Lockport assist. LPD assisted NCSO on a check welfare referral called in by the FBI.

•2700 block of Albright Road, mental health response. Male, 19, listed as a person involved. Subject reportedly made verbal threats to harm himself and others. Rural Metro transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Thursday, March 20

•700 block of Cayuga Street, fire alarm. Employees on location, patrol advised.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, alarm response. Patrol reported rear door open and key holder on location. Nothing stolen; alarm reset.

•5100 block of Isherwood Drive, domestic. LPD assisted Town of Niagara Police with report; one male arrested.

•300 block of South Fourth Street, check 911 call. Homeowner on location; all OK.

•5300 block of Chew Road, harassment. Male, 54, listed; report filed.

•500 block of Morgan Drive, assist. LPD on location with Lewiston No. 1 for an EMS response.

•700 block of Fairchild Place, open door. LPD and DSP checked building; unable to reach key holder.

•700 block of Onondaga street, assist/mental health response. Female, elderly, transported for treatment via Rural Metro.

Friday, March 21

•Creek and Balmer roads, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a one-vehicle accident/serious injury.

•2500 block of New Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a burglary in progress. K-9 track conducted.

•1000 block of Lockport Street, warrant execution. LPD assisted NCSO with Lewiston Town Court arraignment; suspect/arrest unidentified.

•Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male (no age) for criminal possession of a forged instrument, second; having an unregistered motor vehicle; and failure to stop at a railroad crossing. Louisiana plate number logged. Investigation to continue; no further details.

•Ridge and Model City roads, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 32, arrested for operation while registration is suspended/revoked and operating/permitting operation without insurance. Uniform traffic tickets for Lewiston Town Court and plates removed; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a custody dispute. All OK.

•100 block of Water Street, juvenile problem. Caller reported three juveniles climbing on nearby buildings. GOA.

•Robert Moses Parkway, assist. LPD on location with DSP for a DWI arrest.

•Mount Hope Road, Tuscarora Indian school, larceny from building. Statement taken from a female, 51. Investigation to continue; report to follow.

•5400 block of Walmore Road, attempted robbery. Male, 17, listed as complainant; suspect unknown. LPD K-9 unit requested for track; negative results. Report filed.

Saturday, March 22

•900 block of Oneida Street, check situation. Patrol spoke with a female, elderly. All OK.

•200 block of North Ninth Street, criminal mischief complaint. Patrol spoke with a male, elderly, who reported his house was egged over night. No damage.

•4500 block of Porter Center Road, fraud. Male, elderly, listed as complainant, and male, no age, as suspect. No further details; report filed.

•800 block of Cayuga Street, alarm response. Building secured by patrol.

Sunday, March 23

•4500 block of Washington Drive, attempt to locate. Handled by patrol.

•4600 block of Eddy Drive West, disturbing the peace. All OK.

•5100 block of Dana Drive, criminal mischief. Report of eggs on vehicle; no damage.

•4800 block of Garlow Road, vehicle fire. Patrol reported a recovered vehicle; unable to contact rightful owner. Investigation to continue; report filed.
