The Niagara County Genealogical Society will host two free programs March 15 at 215 Niagara St., Lockport.

Board member, Jeanette Sheliga will teach the "Genealogy Made Easy" class that was cancelled in January from 1 to 2:30 p.m. This class is geared toward beginners but a good refresher course for even skilled genealogists.

At 3 p.m., Niagara County Deputy Historian Craig Bacon will present the program "Understanding Naturalization Records." Some of the things Craig will address are the federal history of naturalization, how naturalization impacted the war of 1812 and what naturalization records the historian's office has.

The public is invited to attend one or both programs.
